The famous French jeweller and watchmaker Cartier has a newest addition to their watch family this June 2010 , the Rotonde de Cartier Astrotourbillon watch. First introduced by Cartier at SIHH at the start of the year. The new model features the brands latest manual wind in-house movement, the calibre 9451 MC It measures 38 mm by 9.01 mm thick, has a total of 187 components with 23 jewels , beating at 21,600bph and a power reserve of approximately 48 hours. Each movement is individually numbered, in which it took five years to develop the highly advanced caliber that is equipped with a tourbillon carriage.

se measures a huge 47 mm in diameter and has a circular-grained crown in the corresponding metal set with a sapphire cabochon. The sapphire crystal front and back is water resistant up to 30 meters.
