Watch Review|Timex Global Trainer

This year TimeTimexx launched a new GPS watch ,the Ironman GPS Global Trainer , it’s intended for athletes who require more exact data when training, a high end GPS technology was used in order to accurately track pace, distance, and heart rate.

This unique watch features a data logging of speed, distance and pace using a SiRFstarIII GPS system. It is also water resistant to a depth of 50 meters and features a customizable display that will show you up to 4 performance metrics at a time. The watch also allows you to transfer your performance data to a personal computer (PC or Mac) where you can import your performTimexance and route data to Timex Online Training Software, powered by the Training Peaks platform. The USB connector recharges the watch battery for 15 hours . The Timex Ironman GPS Global Trainer can also be used with all Timex heart rate monitor chest straps and bike sensors as well as ANT+ third party bike power sensors.

The watch will be available in the States coming in May this year, while the rest of the world will have to wait till September, The price is expected to be $360 .
